Friday, September 11th, 7 - 9pm, (2 hours)
Students will learn how to make a granny square crossbody bag. Students will be introduced to 2 to 3 granny square designs, ranging from beginner to intermediate. We will also go over the infamous "magic circle" - a tricky technique used to create a small, adjustable loop of yarn for the granny square.
This beginner/intermediate class is suitable for folks with foundational crochet knowledge on basic stitches (single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch) and the classic slip-knot. If you have these skills, you are good to go!
Students Bring to Class: small pair of scissors (optional)
Price Breakdown: $8 materials fee includes yarn, crochet hook, $48 registration fee

Workshop Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be issued if a workshop is cancelled by the Manitoba Fibre Festival for any reason, including instructor illness or low enrollment.
Student cancellations made by September 1st will be refunded the materials and registration fee, less a $10 admin fee. Withdrawals after September 1st will be refunded the materials fee only.
