Saturday, September 12th, 1 - 4pm, (3 hrs)
This is an embroidery workshop for all levels, inspired by Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations.

Alongside the stitching process, we will briefly explore key visual elements and symbolism associated with Day of the Dead.
Price Breakdown: $10.50 materials fee includes fabric, embroidery hoops, needles, embroidery thread, and printed patterns, $72 registration fee
Ages: 14+
Meet the Instructor: Selene Gaytan Correa, Selene Gaco
Iām a Mexican visual artist working with drawing and embroidery. My work explores Mexican imagery, symbols, and traditions in dialogue with plants and flowers, which are a constant presence and a natural starting point in my drawing practice. I see embroidery as another way of drawing, translating drawing into textile forms through intuitive, exploratory processes.
